First lets learn Shannons story. Shannon Smith was a generous soul who helped many mothers on our little moss covered rock. Her untimely death, at only 32, left a hole in our community that I hope this organization can fill. Shannon had a gift with children. Among her many dreams was owning her own daycare someday. Every time she comforted an infant she dreamed of having or adopting a lucky baby girl of her own named Naomi Grace.
It was one of my dreams to help Shannon fulfill her dreams........ and so Shannons gift was born to honor a woman who gave so much of herself.
